Urgent Help – Instagram App Access Token Not Generating
Hello,
Since early January, I have been unable to generate a new access token for my Instagram app.
I follow all the correct steps, but when I reach the final step where the token should appear, the screen turns completely white, and nothing happens.
I have tried: • Waiting weeks before attempting again. • Using different browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari). • Using different computers (Windows & Mac).
Still, the issue persists.
Recently, I received a warning from Instagram stating that my account might be automated, likely due to the multiple attempts I’ve made to fix this issue. I am now concerned about losing my business account because I simply cannot generate this token.
This token is essential for my app, which manages interactions on my Instagram account, and without it, I am unable to proceed.
Key observation: The issue only happens when I add my business Instagram account. If I log in with another Instagram account, the token is generated normally.
Clearly, something is blocking my business account from generating the token, and I need Meta’s assistance to fix this.
Many other users are experiencing this issue, but there is no official solution from Meta.
Even submitting this ticket was difficult. The “Submit a Request” button is blocked on my computer, and I could only send this message using the mobile browser embedded in my Instagram business account. This is a serious issue that needs attention.
Meta, please help. I need a solution as soon as possible. This is affecting my business.
