Getting "invalid request." only photo or video can be accepted as media type, when i try to post images from my local machine. Can anyone confirm whether we can post images from local machine to instagram or not?

I'm encountering an issue when trying to post images to Instagram from my local machine. Every time I attempt to upload an image, I receive the error message "Invalid request. Only photo or video can be accepted as media type." I've checked that my image files are in the correct format (JPEG, PNG) and within the size limits, but the problem persists. Can anyone confirm whether it's possible to post images to Instagram from a local machine, and if so, what might be causing this error message? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
