Was a bug ticket ever created for this?
I tried to raise a bug report through our developer account but then it said:
Beginning October 1 2022, this support channel is no longer available for IG Mentions API technical issues. Instead, these API issues will be supported via the Developer Community forum. We believe engagement through this community forum will aid collective understanding of our products. We apologize for any inconvenience as we deprecate this support channel. Thank you!
So I had to raise issue on developer community only. But it seems meta is not very responsive here. :(
