Hello,
We are having an issue with error 429, when we authorize using the Instagram Login API, after redirecting, instagram displays error 429 with the message "Error - Please wait a few minutes before you try again". This only happens occasionally. We haven't found any exceeded limit anywhere.
Thank you very much

We are also experiencing this issue. Previously, this only occured intermittently but now it appears to happen every time. We are using the OAuth login URL copied directly from the devlopers.facebook.com console

Also experiencing the same issue and it seems to be happening more frequently. Does not happen for all users, but a lot.
Seems to be a rate limiting issue on Meta's side. But of course, there is no way to report this issue to them.
Anyone with a tech provider account that is able to report this as a bug so it can be actioned by Meta?

Hall, we have the same problem. Neither ours, nor our clients, nor we can log into Instagram and we get the same error message

Same dumb issue, Meta clearly does not care, been happening for months for some people. Busy developing an app and it getting in the way, cannot make any progress with authentication.

A large percent of our users are having this issue. It's a big problem.

Same issue here. This has been going on for weeks now and Meta has not acknowledged this bug. And, what is the point of a Bugs menu option when absolutely every single option says... We regret that support is unavailable for this product Advanced technical support via this channel is no longer publicly available for this product. Instead, these issues will be supported via the Developer Community Forum.... And yet when we try and use the Developer Community to report problems now, no Meta developers ever seem to respond.
Ok now onto the main issue. So, for me, when I use WiFi to try and connect I get the response, "Error Please wait a few minutes before you try again." It does not matter how many days have gone by now, I continue to get that response. If I use a 5G connection then I can connect to the login flow. Obviously, that does no good for the regular user who does not have this ability or awareness.
Come on Meta, get it together, and have a developer review this problem, please.

Is anyone still experiencing this issue? It seems like it might have been resolved now.

Precisely the same issue on our end. It happens to multiple users. Waiting for a day or two sometimes solves the problem, but it's been happening for some users for weeks.
