OG:Image could not be processed as an image. It may be corrupted or may have an invalid format.
All of the sudden clients started having incorrect images showing for their Facebook posts. When we run the URLs through the facbook debugger, we're receiving this error message even though valid images are used for the og:image tag. I'm seeing it happen across multiple websites.
Corrupted Image Provided og:image URL, https://faithconnector.s3.amazonaws.com/3322/images/thumbs/announcements/37488198_10155892158683924_2420206705427087360_o_10155892158673924.jpg?t=261737 could not be processed as an image. It may be corrupted or may have an invalid format.
Having the exact same issue over the last few weeks across multiple sites. Happy to share the OG info if that will help anyone debug
We had the same problem, may I ask how you finally solved it?
I am having the same issue since 3 weeks, Facebook has not come with a solution yet..

Same problem. I read a discussion about the desired file being cached, and that re-scraping was not the solution. So I tried a brand new file with previously-unused name. No solution. Yahoo Mail was my initial indication there was a problem. All the urls bring up the site title and description with a black image.
Finding the right real estate agent is a lot like trying to resolve that dreaded Facebook og:image error. Trust me, I’ve been there. My own website faced the same issue—images not pulling through, countless hours spent in forums, trying every solution under the sun, and still... crickets. It felt like hitting refresh on a dead link, hoping Facebook would suddenly have a change of heart.
But just like finding a reliable agent, you eventually want someone who gets it, who understands your frustration and knows exactly what needs to be done. That’s what an ERA agent brings to the table. They don’t just hand you a list of properties—they take the time to understand your unique goals, much like how I had to figure out what was wrong with my site (spoiler: still no fix from Facebook). When you’re building a relationship with your agent, it’s like finally having someone who can decode the real estate market and guide you through the process, step by step, until you find the home that truly fits your needs.
At the end of the day, whether it’s fixing a tech glitch or finding your perfect home, having someone on your team who really understands what you're going through is priceless.
Same issue when sharing articles with og:images served by DigitalOcean Spaces. No issue when images are served by DigitalOcean Droplets.

I had the same problem. I renamed the file to contain only English letters, dashes and numbers, and it worked.
Very Hard to detect this Issue I had the same problem, found out that the Url contains white space
filename = filename.Replace(" ", "")
this code doesnt replace all spaces then you should use below code to change your file name when uploading filename = new string(filename.Where(c => !char.IsWhiteSpace(c)).ToArray());
this issue does not occure in all hosting servies but my case Azure blob was,

Is that a fb bug or some new rule?
Same here. Facebook don't want to share any image from my domain.
I have the same problem, some images load and others do not, and there are no different meta between the images, I have tried other debuggers and they correctly detect the meta, even on other platforms like X(twitter) or Whatsapp they load the image meta correctly. The problem is on Facebook.
I have the same problem, How can I fix this? This is a big problem for my website.
Same problem
same problem
We have the same issue. When POST-ing a comment with GIFs (which I verified to give the Corrupted Image error) one can only see a static image with a link to the actual GIF
On fanpage auto shared posts with image url with special characters (greek) shows not or blank on page

I noticed that I had some empty og:image:height and og:image:width tags on some of my pages. I updated those pages with values and now I'm seeing images being pulled in.
So EITHER Facebook quickly fixed something, OR they put something in place that didn't like empty image dimensions. The few tests I've run seem to show images again.

Same here, started around middle of January. I tested Adam's solution above to include og:image:width and og:image:height and in my case it did not make a difference.
In the 4 weeks since it's been broken, I had reused an image for a new post that before this situation was completely fine, and it too gave the same error as new images. So it's not the images, not the server and in my case not the meta tags.
Definitely a FB issue, and annoying.
This suddenly started happening here a week ago as well. No workarounds. Pasting the direct link to the image in the debugger shows the right image, so Facebook is able to access it.
Does Facebook ever review these posts and provide solutions????

I tried my link through a different debugger (https://debug.iframely.com/) and it's pulling through the meta tags correctly. but still not sharing on FB right... this is really annoying and frustrating!
I concur. This issue has been going on way too long. Facebook developers rely on these og: images to conduct campaigns and we have ceased all advertising on the platform until this issue is resolved. Our team has run an extensive diagnostic review of all meta tags associated with Facebook and conclude that it likely an overlap from their increase in censorship of political content.
