Hello,
A long time ago, before Instagram apps merged to the developer portal in Facebook, we created and managed our Instagram apps. Pretty much never really had any problems with our apps, until recently when the Instagram Basic Display API got deprecated.
We have two apps for two different whitelabels, one of which is working after applying the required changes, the second one however seems to be broken when requesting long-lived access tokens.
Normally I would troubleshoot this by going to the app settings of my Instagram apps, but unfortunately when I go to https://developers.facebook.com and go to the specific apps, click on Instagram -> Business API Settings, I am greeted with a default page that says the following:
Instagram Platform The Instagram API Platform can be used to build non-automated, authentic, high-quality apps and services. Select the API permissions that you would like to integrate with your service or product so you can effectively utilize the Instagram API and help businesses achieve their objectives. The API permissions available on this page are currently only available for Instagram business accounts. These APIs do not support regular personal profiles; you can learn more about business profiles here. If you are interested in the consumer (non-business) use cases that involve the Instagram login, please refer to the developer site for the former API permissions. Check out some resources that may help you in development: Documentation and Instagram Platform Policies.
I am not sure what to do here. We are a verified business, our Facebook apps are working just fine. We know what the Instagram App IDs, but I am unable to match this ID because no settings are being displayed. I am unsure if these apps fall under this account, I can only assume so as we do not have any other accounts.
Hopefully someone could point me in the right direction. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
